WHERE IS GOD WHEN THINGS GO WRONG?

Hanney Chapel Introducing Hanney Chapel

During the last decade or so the Fellowship at Hanney has been a part of the Abbey Baptist Church (Checker Walk, Abingdon). Over that time the fellowship has grown in numbers and on the 15th January 2012 Hanney Chapel became an independant church with 39 members. It has also now formally become a member of the Association of Grace Baptist Churches in the South East (AGBCSE).

It is a place for people to meet together and worship God. The church holds both morning and evening services each Sunday and exists to spread the Good News about Jesus Christ to the people of Hanney and the surrounding area.

Those who meet at Hanney Chapel form a group of local people of all ages and backgrounds who have begun this new relationship with Christ. We are trying to live our lives so as to express our thanks to God and to please Him. We still have a long way to go….

Which is why we meet together regularly to encourage one another, to worship God and to learn more of what His Bible teaches. Our meetings are conducted in quite a simple way, and with a friendly atmosphere – why don’t you come and see?

We provide refreshments after most meetings and you would be most welcome.

“Come and see what God has done, how awesome his works on man's behalf!” Psalm 66:5
